Approximately 400 employees will volunteer at 16 different charitable organizations
On Friday, December 11, employees of Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., makers of well-known consumer brands including Dial® soaps, Purex® laundry detergents, Renuzit air fresheners® and Right Guard® antiperspirants, will take part in a company-wide Community Service Day. Approximately 400 employees will volunteer at 16 different charitable organizations across the greater Phoenix area.
Henkel employees began this common goal of service in December 2008. Employees will take part in various activities such as wrapping presents, sorting clothes, gardening and cleaning up trails. The day of service provides a way for employees to reach out to the community and work together with fellow colleagues in a meaningful way. In addition, each organization will receive a $1,000 donation from Henkel.
Brad Casper, President & CEO of Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., states, “We’re giving back to our community during a season of giving. Each one of us has something to be thankful for and we hope to inspire the spirit of volunteering within all of us. This day will promote a sense of unity among Henkel employees, while connecting them with their neighbors to build a stronger community.”
