This is how the students participating in the game describe the Henkel Innovation Challenge. It is a perfect chance for students and interns to develop their vision of life in 2030 and create a new Henkel product or technology for the future – not to mention a fantastic prize, valuable contacts and career opportunities.
Henkel has been organizing this yearly international business game since 2007, for students doing their studies in selected countries in Western Europe, Central Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific.
To participate, you just need to build up a tandem of 2 students and imagine to be the business managers of Adhesives Technologies, Cosmetics & Toiletries or Laundry & Home Care.
To submit your innovative idea, you first need to answer a few question online: what trends do you predict for 2030? What will consumers’ and customers’ needs be in the future? What new idea would you develop to meet these needs? How does your product or technology contribute to promoting sustainable development?
The best tandems are invited to the national final in participating countries to present their concept – after having received valuable and personalized support from Henkel managers, who mentor each selected team during the preparation phase. The couple of students that wins at the national final gets the chance to participate in the international final – with additional mentorship and support from Henkel top-managers.
The final prize is a ticket around the world plus € 1.000 in travel vouchers.
